The Zeolithe compact filter is specifically designed for properties not on mains drainage (Assainissement Non Collective). It is accepted for properties with a small amount of land where a conventional French system can not be fitted. It is an alternative less expensive system to a product predominatly promoted in the French market which uses the same filter principle .

It consists of a pre settlement tank (fosse toutes eaux) a casstte filter and a container with the zeolithe filter medium enclosed.

The distribution of the pre treated effluent is then dispersed over the cassette filter.The cassette filter consists of vertically pleated geo textile, where ventilation is encouraged and the effluent can be treated aerobically.

The effluent then filters slowly through the zeolithe where it further purifies the effluent, Zeolite is a naturally formed mineral micro porous stone, ideal with its properties, for purification . 

It is then collected fully treated into a collection drain where it then exits the unit.

 After which the treated effluent can be discharged into a ditch, Stream or brook (with permissions), or drainage bed. With an irrigation kit the treated discharge can be used to irrigate your garden.
